"The Trim Way" was devised by Motiv8. The purpose of ‘The Trim Way' is to elevate the quality of coaching within the club and more importantly to encourage nurturing coaches who will strengthen the intrinsic enjoyment of Gaelic games among all the playing members.
"The Trim Way" aims to present foundational knowledge in relation to the club's coaching philosophy, the values which the club believes each of the coaches and playing members of the club should represent and best practice in delivering those values.
Speaking at the launch in Trim's state of the art club facilities, Paul Galvin said "I am honoured to be associated with this ground-breaking initiative. Trim GAA Club should be congratulated on their enterprise and vision in creating this coaching philosophy".
Justin McNulty of Motiv8 commented, "It was very rewarding to collaborate with Trim GAA club in developing a positive coaching culture which will permeate the entire club. I can envisage other clubs, indeed other sporting bodies, following Trim's example in developing their own culture and coaching philosophy."
Trim GAA Chairman C.J. Murtagh said "All of us in Trim GAA club have enjoyed working with Motiv8. We now have a coaching philosophy program that complements and enhances our exceptional facilities. The Trim Way will have a positive impact not only in our club but in the wider Trim Community. We as a club look forward to embracing and implementing "The Trim Way".
